I got the highest score in my testing group by using this ACCUPLACER resource. I haven’t done most of this math in almost a decade, but I was able to relearn everything, practice, and test on it. I was extremely impressed with the effectiveness of this course.

The site was very helpful in brushing up on forgotten math skills and learning some I had never known. Having been out of school for over 20 years this is the one site I came across that was able to help me learn it. Your people went over it well, and the practice test after each lesson was good. I did well on my Accuplacer - I scored a 258 on the math portion which is enough to get me into mathematical reasoning. Thanks for you help. I wouldn’t change a thing.

My Score on the Accuplacer QAS was 275 or 285. I can’t remember. The actual test was more difficult than your study material. That doesn’t mean this wasn’t a tremendous help. Your materials covered the majority of the content on the exam. I would have certainly failed if I didn’t use Mathhelp.

My ACCUPLACER test went well enough to pass, as I had some real cramming to do after being inactive in mathematics for quite some time. The detailed lessons were immensely helpful in their entirety. The videos allowed me to go back and go over and over a really get it right. I have since started college and will likely use the math courses again.Thank you for this service it was a big help.

passed my Accuplacer and the most helpful part was all the subjects I covered. I won't hesitate to use math help again in the future. I have to take quantitative reasoning in the new year and I hope I can use math help for that course.

I began the ACCUPLACER math review being 10 years out of high school, with that being the last time I took any math course. I was literally starting from scratch and didn’t remember anything. I’m beginning my journey back to school and going off of my ACT score I was placed in beginners math! I always struggled in math and by taking this review it helped me test out of the college algebra completely. I now do not have to take any math classes for my degree, which saved me time and money! I highly recommend this program. I love the videos of instruction, the practice questions and the tests. I cannot say enough good things about this review. I learned more from it then I did all through high school!

The ACCUPLACER math test went great!!! I have been out of school for 30 years and had not worked on algebra at all :( I really did not want to start at the bottom with all of the math classes. After working the online course for 1 week I was able to skip 4 classes and just have to take one class lower than my pre-requisite for my medical classes :) The whole program the way you have it set up is perfect for me!! I love that you can watch the demos then practice and then finally test. You have an amazing program that was a huge help to me!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I took the Accuplacer test originally a year ago and scored a 34 in Accuplacer elementary algebra, not even making it to the college math test. After studying for less than a month with Mathhelp I score a 60 in Accuplacer college math and was able to test into my college math class bypassing remedial classes and saving me wasted time and money. Although I took trigonometry and calculus in high school, that was in 2001, so these modules were a refresher for me. But they were a huge help and cant say thank you enough. The biggest help for me was the instant feedback on quizzes showing my mistakes in my work. I don't feel there was much to be improved, it helped me tremendously and I enjoyed the course.

Bossier Parish Community College in Louisiana is a two-year institution of higher education.  The regional accrediting board, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, approves the college to award certificates and associate degrees.  Three of the programs at the college have special program accreditation.  In the fall of 2017, the number of students taking courses at the school was 6,042.  This fact is documented on the Quick Fact Sheet posted at the college web site.

Anyone who is over the age of 16 can be admitted to the college due to its open admissions procedures.  For enrolling in degree programs, students who are applying should send transcripts from the high school that they attended or a diploma of high school equivalency.  The new test for high school equivalency approved by the state is the HiSET test.  This test replaced the GED test in the state after 2014 and is available in the testing center.  Accuplacer tests are used for placement in reading, English, and mathematics courses.  Students can take the Accuplacer free of charge in the testing center.  Also, for students who have taken the ACT, exemption from the placement testing is possible if the scores are high enough.  The college recommends that students who need developmental math course work should take a math course each semester consecutively until they have completed the college level math course and the math requirement is met.  For students that do not speak English as the first language, the TOEFL exam is given.  Both the CLEP tests and the DSST testing are provided in the testing center for earning credits by examination.  For students working on job related skills, The Workkeys program is available on campus.

Courses of study that result in earning the associate of arts, the associate of science, and the associate of applied science degrees are available at the college which also offers certificate and technical programs.  The Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration is offered by the Division of Business and is one of the most popular choices of majors.  The Division of Business also offers a Certificate of Technical Studies in the Legal Secretary program and one in Culinary Arts.  Students can earn Technical Competency in fields such as Business Communication, Bookkeeping, and Basic Management.  Many students are interested in the numerous programs in the field of health sciences.  The Associate of Applied Science in Medical Assisting is one popular course of study in that field.  This degree prepares students for clinical and administrative work in physician’s offices.  Many students elect to enter the nursing program.  The Associate of Science degree in Nursing is offered at the college.  Students may earn this degree by a traditional path or they may follow a program that leads from Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse.  In order to be accepted into the Associate Degree Nursing program, students must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 in all courses preceding their nursing courses.  Additionally, they must pass the Kaplan Entrance Exam during the time that they are enrolled at the college.  Upon successfully completing the ADN program, graduates must sit for the NCLEX-RN.  Passing the exam is necessary for obtaining a license as a registered nurse.  The Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice is of interest to a great many students.  Areas of concentration for this degree are corrections, medicolegal death investigation, and law enforcement.   Also available in the Criminal Justice program are several Certificates of Technical Studies that require 30 hours of coursework and a Technical Diploma that requires 45 hours of college credits.  Options at the college are available for those interested in the field of education.  One such program is the Associate of Applied Science degree in Care and Development of Young Children.  The Associate of Science in Teaching is a transfer degree program which prepares students to complete a bachelor’s degree and qualify for teaching students in grades 1 through 5.  For admission to the Associate of Science in Teaching degree, Accuplacer or ACT scores must be submitted to the college.  Additionally, students must earn a grade point average of at least 2.5.  Graduates of the program must earn passing scores on section 0014 of the Praxis II exam and the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Exam.
