The AEPA, or Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessments, Elementary Education Subtests I and II are required for the subject knowledge testing requirement for certification of Elementary educators in Arizona. Knowledge in Reading and English Language Arts along with Social Studies is assessed on Subtest I (102) while knowledge of Mathematics, Science, and the Arts, Health, and Fitness is measured on Subtest II (103). The mathematics content included on the exam addresses numeracy, number sense, operations, mathematical reasoning and problem solving, data analysis, patterns, algebra, functions, geometry, and measurement.
