What is the WEST-B Test?

The Washington Educator Skills Test – Basic, or WEST-B Test is required for admission to teacher education programs or for teacher certification. There is no longer a state requirement for a certain passing score.

The West-B is a computer-based test with questions covering the subjects of reading (095), writing (096), and mathematics (097).
