The Intermediate Algebra was very helpful!Pamela Veshti - August 2024
I found the Intermediate Algebra course offered through MathHelp.com incredibly helpful and well done. I tried out a few math learning sites before MathHelp.com and found their formats weren’t detailed enough for my liking. Your combination of short lessons with practise questions and tests was the perfect setup for me. I just enrolled in college after a 17 year break from school and scored a perfect 100% on my first test all thanks to the skills I learned on MathHelp.com. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know.Lynn Whitney - October 2023
Intermediate algebra for college students is a remedial course required for students who have not demonstrated readiness for successful study of College Algebra. At many colleges, it is the third in a series of remedial courses that begins with college pre-algebra (or basic skills mathematics), followed by elementary (or introductory) algebra, and ending with intermediate algebra. Students taking intermediate algebra should already have a foundation of some basic algebraic skills.
The concepts taught in intermediate algebra are similar to those of a high school Algebra II course. These include linear equations in one and two variables, exponents, polynomials, factoring, quadratic equations, roots and radicals, rational expressions and equations, functions and graphing, real and complex numbers.
