CASAS Math GOALS 2 assessment, Levels A through E, also known as Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems, is a group of tests that measure math abilities for students in Adult Basic Education (ABE) and Adult Secondary Education (ASE).
The CASAS Level E test measures number skills such as using radical and irrational numbers. Algebra thinking concepts extend to solving inequalities, using functions, and modeling with quadratic expressions. The geometry topics include the Pythagorean Theorem, similarity and congruence, and area and volume. Topics from Statistics and Probability are also covered. Level E corresponds with NRS Educational Functioning Levels 5 and 6 and College and Career Readiness Standards Levels D and E.
