Complementary and Supplementary Angles

Students learn that two angles that have a sum of 90 degrees are complementary angles, and two angles that have a sum of 180 degrees are supplementary angles. Students also learn to find the complement of a given angle by subtracting the measure of the angle from 90, and find the supplement of a given angle by subtracting the measure of the angle from 180.
