In order to obtain California state teaching credentials, prospective teachers must pass the CBEST assessment exam. What makes our CBEST math practice test different is that it not only shows you where you need help, but it also provides the follow-up instruction using concise videos and rich exercises. Finally, be sure to take our practice test again once you feel ready. It generates new questions every time, and a solid score will provide you with the confidence you need to tackle the real thing!
"The CBEST test went well, as I received a scaled score of 66. Element wise, the videos were SUPER helpful. They were clear and to the point, and their short length made it very digestible. The practice questions were also awesome in that they had additional videos breaking them down if I was confused."

The CBEST exam is a rigorous test of a California teaching prospect’s aptitudes in math, reading, and writing. If it’s been some time since you used the math concepts covered by the exam, or if you never had the opportunity to learn them in the first place, you may find it hard to pass the CBEST. So it’s very important to prepare ahead of time.
Take our CBEST math practice test now!
The CBEST math exam focuses on three main categories: computation and problem-solving; numerical and graphical relationships; and estimation, measurement, and statistical principles.
Included within the categories is a wide range of topics including basic operations, fractions, decimals, equations, inequalities, graphing equations, geometry concepts, probability and statistics, ratios, and more.
To pass the CBEST, your total combined score on the reading, writing, and math sections must be 123 or better. However, you also must score at least a 37 on each section. In other words, no matter how well you do on the reading and writing sections, if you don’t get a 37 or more on the math part, you won’t pass the overall exam. This minimum section score is the reason why you need to be sure you’re prepared for the math on the CBEST, regardless of how good you are at reading and writing.
