Is it hard to pass the TEAS test?

Most people find the exam challenging. To pass the TEAS test, the best approach is to assume that it will be difficult and to prepare yourself thoroughly. If you teach yourself the math concepts covered on the test, then practice them until they’re second nature, it won’t be nearly as hard to pass the TEAS. Just make sure to put in the practice time and take the test seriously.

How do you study for the TEAS math test?

Apply the following approach to your TEAS math practice test problems as you study.

  1. Analyze the provided information. Compare the problem with your current base of knowledge and determine if it fits into a pattern of TEAS math questions that you’ve seen before.
  2. Approach the problem strategically. Develop a plan of attack and methodically work your way through each step to arrive at a solution.
  3. Review your answer choices. Compare your answer to the available choices. Remember that just because you find your solution on the list doesn’t mean it’s the right answer. Make sure to double-check your work.
  4. Select your answer. Once you’re as certain as you can be that your solution is the correct one, select it from the multiple-choice options and move on.
