The Praxis 7813 test covers the math content knowledge that’s required for teaching elementary education. It’s one of four sub-tests on the larger Praxis 7811 test. The other subtests are reading and language arts (7812), science (7814), and social studies (7815).
The Praxis 7813 isn’t hard if you take the time to study. Make sure to use a study guide that goes well beyond a typical pdf by featuring videos, guided exercises with audio, and an interactive practice test.
The math on the Praxis 7813 includes fractions, decimals, ratios, equations, measurement, and geometry. In other words, the questions cover the initial topics in a typical Pre-Algebra course.
The Praxis 7813 is a sub-test of the Praxis 7811 test. It covers the math component of the broader 7811 test.
I passed my Praxis 7813 on the first try! Thank You!Elizabeth Cook - May 2025
I ended up passing my PRAXIS Elementary exam! Your program was a very self-paced and thorough course on components of math that I needed to study. As a visual learner that often struggles with math, this was a dream! I also like that it gives you a “move forward” option for content you might already know and that if you’re not getting something they give suggested videos on what to master to be able to do the skill.Rachel Blankenship - April 2025
It was great! It was so helpful to get a good refresher on some of the items that I haven’t had in a long time. I passed the Praxis Elementary test!! I bookmarked the website for future use. Thank you!Erika Ewing - June 2024
