What is the PAPA Test?

The PAPA, or Pre-Service Academic Performance Assessment, is administered to undergraduate students who are in the process of becoming certified as teachers in the state of Pennsylvania.

It is a computer-based test that contains three modules: Reading, Math, and Writing. A formula page and a standard on-screen calculator are provided for use during the mathematics portion of the test.
