I annihilated the TSIA2 test! The most helpful part of the course for me was it’s step-by-step format and practice questions and its slowly ramps up in difficulty - which kept me motivated. The way the course is formatted made it incredibly satisfying and easy to learn.

Thank you so much for your lessons! I came into this having forgotten pretty much everything about math except the basics and I left confidently taking the TSI and passing with no trouble at all! I was impressed by my score (976!) and so proud of myself! I can’t thank you enough. I really liked how easy it was to follow the videos and the freedom to go at my own pace. Thank you from a 35 year old mother of 3 finally following her dreams to become a teacher. I truly couldn’t have done it without you!

I started using MathHelp because I was going to take a placement test to go back to College. The test went really well. My score on Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics was 274 which is very good for the Next-Gen Accuplacer test. The lady at the College said it was the best score she had seen in a while. I have nothing but to thank MathHelp for the review and the very well structured and easy to follow classes, it really helped me. I'm starting College Algebra this upcoming Spring Semester and will definitely come back to MathHelp in case I need some outside help.

My Math TSIA2 went great! I completed and passed the first 20 questions and didn’t have to finish the rest. 👍🏼 I think the lessons were great, coming from someone who hasn’t studied this material in 20 years. It was very thorough and you did a great job! Thanks again!

My TSIA2 test went great. I passed the test my first try and math is not my strongest subject so this course helped a lot. Thank you!

I did well on the TSIA2 and am thankful for your course. I found the instruction and pace to be very helpful. The amount of practice questions provided for each topic was perfect and I liked how I could pause the quizzes to review the material a little more if I felt unsure. I’m very happy to have found MathHelp and will sing its praises from here on out. Thank you so much for the help you provided!

Thank you SO MUCH! I PASSED THE TSI WITH FLYING COLORS and I wouldn't have walked in there with the confidence had it not been for your awesome program! I really feel like how you explained it made it click for me. I was able to comprehend the material and feel like that is due in large to the direct, repetitive nature of the course. It's organized very well. The fact that there's audio for every practice problem is VERY helpful. It's one thing to have a video teaching a concept, but to have you explaining the work and reinforcing the concepts as I'm practicing on my own really helped more than just having the answer given without explanation.

The TSIA2 course I took was a tremendous help. I went into the course knowing very little about math other than middle school level basics. I took math when I was in high school but I never understood what was going on and I had just barley scrapped by. This course is the first thing I've ever been able to understand on the topic of math. I feel confident to go to college now that I have a clue on what's going on. Thank you so much.

What is EPCC known for?

EPCC or El Paso Community College is a Texas community college.  It has five campuses in the city.  Additionally, there are four smaller learning centers.  The Valle Verde Campus is the main campus.  Mission del Paso Campus serves the eastern city and Mission Valley.  Northwest Campus serves the citizens of the far west portion of the city.  The Rio Grande Campus opened in 1975 and was the first permanent facility of the college.  The Transmountain Campus provides classes for people in the northeastern section of the city.  The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges accredits the college which offers associate degree programs and certificates.  The college has a large student population which is shown by the 28,750 students enrolled in 2017-2018.

College entrance exams such as SAT are not required for admittance.  Applicants should send their high school transcripts or GED scores to the admissions department during the application process.  All entering students must take the TSI Assessment for placement in English, Mathematics, and Reading.  Some students may not be required to take the placement tests if they have SAT or ACT scores which qualify.  Also used for this purpose are TAKS scores or scores from the STAAR tests.  The testing center administers the GED test for students who need to earn high school equivalency.  The state also allows scores from the HiSET test and the third HSE test offered at the college is the TASC test.   If English is not your first language, there are options for proving fluency including scores on the TOEFL exam.  Students may also choose to participate in the English Language Program instead.

The college offers many degree and certificate programs as well as continuing education and workforce training.  The Associate of Applied Science in Nursing is a popular course of study.  Admission to this program requires taking the ATI TEAS exam as well as additional criteria.  Completion of this two-year course of study enables graduates to sit for the licensing examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN).  The college also has vocational nursing programs and LVN to RN options.  The Associate of Arts in Teaching degree courses prepare students to transfer to a university to complete requirements for careers in teaching early childhood to grade 6, grades 4 to 8, secondary, and special education.  Teaching in Texas requires a bachelor’s degree as well as scores on certification tests such as the TExES exams.  The college offers the Associate of Applied Science degree in Basic Firefighter courses.  A certification exam is required by the state upon completion.  The Basic Peace Officer Certification Course of study enables students to sit for the State Licensing Examination upon completion.
