The Oregon Educator Licensure Assessments, ORELA Middle Grades Mathematics exam (203) is required as part of the certification requirements to become a licensed middle school mathematics teacher in that state. The test is taken on the computer and consists of multiple-choice questions. Test takers will be allowed to use an on-screen scientific calculator and a formula chart will be provided as well. The questions on the test will come from 4 categories of mathematics. These are: Statistics, Probability, and Discrete Mathematics; Geometry and Measurement; Algebra and Functions; and Number Sense and Operations.
