The MEGA, or Missouri Educator Gateway Assessment for Elementary Mathematics Specialist (065) test is a certification examination required by the state of Missouri for those entering this field. This exam is taken on the computer and contains multiple-choice questions. A scientific calculator is provided on the computer screen during the test. The questions cover the categories of the following: knowledge of teaching and instructional leadership; number concepts and operations; algebra and functions; geometry and measurement; and data analysis and probability.
