What is the CAT-ASVAB Test?

The CAT-ASVAB is the computer adaptive version of the ASVAB test. The exam assesses the same abilities and knowledge as the traditional paper and pencil version of the ASVAB. However, the test is adaptive, which means that the difficulty level of the questions will increase as the test-taker answers questions correctly or it will decrease as questions are answered incorrectly. The person taking the exam will only see questions that are appropriate to his/her ability level.

This version of the test offers many advantages such as immediate score results, better accuracy, and less overall time for taking the test. However, it is important to note that, due to the adaptive nature of the questions, answers cannot be changed once you have moved on to the next question.
