What is the CASAS Level C Test?

The Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems, or CASAS Math GOALS 2 assessment, is a series of mathematics tests for Adult Basic Education (ABE) and Adult Secondary Education (ASE) students. These exams measure basic and academic skills.

The CASAS Level C exam covers concepts such as operations with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions, ratio, rate, and percent. Concepts from Algebra and Geometry are also tested along with statistics and probability. This level corresponds with NRS Educational Functioning Levels 3 and 4 and College and Career Readiness Standards Levels C and D.
