This program was very helpful and beneficial. I ended up passing the TSI. I think the biggest help was the “work” part of the problems and tests where I could see where I went wrong. Thank you.

Wanted to say thanks so much for putting together the Mathhelp curriculum for people like me. Without all the content I would not have been successful on the TSI placement test. The most helpful was definitely the factoring, exponent rules and fractions involving radicals since you see a lot of that on the test. Overall it was very easy to learn and follow and built my confidence up and helped me be successful. I scored a 350 out of a possible 390 according to my advisor and now I’m in my second week of college algebra on a summer mini semester! Thanks to all of you and keep up the good work. I made a suggestion to my school that they should recommend your site to people like me as a prep for the placement test.

My TSI went well and I passed all portions of the test. I found every section of your course extremely helpful. I appreciate all the help your lessons provided and couldn't have asked to find a better TSI study guide. Thanks again.

Extremely helpful. I haven't studied math in like 5 years but I enrolled in the TSI test and I absolutely killed the TSI math test. The lessons are concise, straight to the point and covers every aspect

I took the TSI exam today. I scored high enough for the college to allow me to take the classes I need. Your course helped very well and was very beneficial in helping me prepare for the exam. Overall it is a great course and will be recommending it to friends!

San Antonio College is a public community college which is part of the Alamo Colleges District.  The college has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees and certificates.  The 2018-2019 student population of 21,280 makes it the largest community college in Texas with only one campus.

Students applying for admission should submit high school transcripts or high school equivalency documentation.  GED scores should be submitted.  Students may alternatively submit HiSET scores or scores from the TASC test.  International students should submit scores from either the TOEFL exam or the IELTS exam for proof of proficiency in English.  Entering students must take the TSI Assessment for placement in English, Reading, and Mathematics.  Exemptions to the TSI requirement include certain scores on either the ACT or the SAT test.  Certain scores on the TAKS exam or the STAAR test may also be used for exemption.  Students who have already passed a college level English or Mathematics course are exempt as well as veterans and active members of the military.

Students interested in enrolling in a special program such as nursing will be required to meet additional admissions criteria.  The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing program requires GPA of no less than 2.7 in all pre-nursing science courses as well as minimum scores on the ATI TEAS exam.  The nursing program at the college has been accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the state Board of Nursing.  Graduates of the program may sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam.  They will be able to enter the workforce or may transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree.  The Associate of Arts in Teaching program allows students to begin working toward teaching credentials and then transfer to a university to complete their requirements.  The college also offers both certificate programs and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.  The Alamo Colleges District also offers an Educator Certification Program which allows students who already hold a bachelor’s degree to obtain a teaching certificate.  Students who are interested in enrolling in this program must already have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Our math review goes far beyond the typical study guide by including comprehensive instruction, guided practice, and interactive tests. All of these features are available for anyone at San Antonio College to try out by simply selecting the “start course” button above.

Additionally, our approach to math instruction is direct and to the point. We won’t waste your time with long-winded explanations. And our course only includes the topics that are covered on your placement test - nothing more and nothing less. We know that the best test prep must be incredibly efficient as well.

Let’s face it. Test prep books and practice questions are not enough, and classes and tutors are too expensive. That’s why we created our online course - to offer the perfect balance of affordability and effectiveness that has always been missing for students preparing for the TSI Math test at San Antonio College.

At MathHelp.com, our mission is to break down the “math wall” that holds so many students back from achieving the success they deserve. Why do students at San Antonio College struggle on the TSI math placement test? Because they have simply never received individualized instruction in math. By providing every student with a personal math teacher for the exact math help they need, we give students the opportunity to conquer math, to build confidence in themselves, to continue their education, and to pursue their dreams.
