Our lessons were originally designed by Mr. Mike Maggart while he was a math teacher at St. John’s School in Houston, TX.  St. John’s is currently ranked as the 13th ‘smartest’ private high school in the country by Business Insider.

OUR PRESENTERS

Mr. Maggart, Mrs. Peterson, and Mrs. Vandersea are experienced classroom math teachers from the best schools in the country.

Mr. Maggart taught middle and high school math at Culver Academy, Kentucky Country Day, and St. John’s School in Houston. St. John’s is consistently recognized as one of the top private schools in the country, with an average SAT math score of 730 and an average ACT math score of 32. 68% of the 2012 senior class was either a National Merit Semi-Finalist or Finalist.

Mrs. Peterson taught Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 at Lake Highlands School in Richardson, Texas. Her extensive classroom exerience and engaging presentation style won her the Pre-Algebra position at MathHelp.com over dozens of other candidates.

Mrs. Vandersea taught high school math at Salem Academy and Durham Academy in North Carolina. Durham Academy is consistently recognized as one of the top private schools in the country, with an average SAT math score of 700.
